Perivoli Foundation

Perivoli Innovations allocates profits to the Perivoli Foundation, a UK Charity, which supports the Perivoli Schools Trust, Perivoli Climate Trust, the Perivoli Africa Research Centre (PARC) and a number of other founder-led charities.

Perivoli Schools Trust

The purpose of the Perivoli Schools Trust is to address some of the inadequacies of nursery school education in Sub-Saharan Africa.

The programme’s goal is to transform the prospects of the region in a generation by showing nursery school teachers the power of play, how to organise their classrooms and how to make educational toys out of waste material.

Since 2013 the initiative has reached over 20,000 nursery school teachers in three countries with 200,000 across the Continent being the ultimate target.

Perivoli Climate Trust

Sub-Saharan Africa has contributed less than 1% to the build up in planetary Greenhouse Gases but stands to be one of the worst affected regions.

Our goal through the Perivoli Climate Trust is to help find ways to slow down the rise in global temperatures and to assist those most affected, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa, to adapt to the implications.

We do this:

  • by supporting scalable, science based, research initiatives, led mostly by Africa based Universities, that aim to address climate change mitigation and adaptation; and
  • to lead on the implementation of those strategies that we find to be the most compelling.
